There are several grandchildren in this family. Mostly from only two sources but nevertheless, much discussion is currently filling the air over what choices should be taken for GCSE and the upper A-evel exams. Two of the grandaughters have made their decisions and are seaming away at upper school – once that decision was made and approved by the staff of the school, the girls were knuckling down to their form studies. It helped that this year at last, they have a nice sized bedroom each. They can spread their books out, either sit down to write, or get their crayons and drawing gear out to illustrate the points. They love having independence at last, now that mum & dad have obligingly moved into their new purpose built master bedroom with ensuite bathroom. the space to breathe and learn is so critical at their teenage years.
